The City of Dubuque has set a goal to reduce our emissions by 50% of our 2003 levels by the year 2030. To reach this goal, the city has developed a comprehensive plan that includes a Greenhouse Gas Emissions inventory, a vulnerability assessment, and a collection of climate action strategies. Each step is an effort to address our climate crisis in an efficient and equitable way by identifying the specific needs and conditions of Dubuque. Among many others the Office of Sustainability is looking for ways to implement these changes in a way that supports our community and makes growth possible.
