The Branching Out Initiative now offers an additional way to qualify.

If you live outside the Branching Out eligibility areas but your household income is at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), you can receive free tree(s)!

To qualify, provide one of the following accepted documents:

Acceptable Documents:

• City of Dubuque Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) (formerly Section 8)

• Proof of participation in a City of Dubuque housing program within the past 6 months (e.g., Housing Trust Fund, CDBG, Housing TIF)

• Current-year eligibility letter for FIP, WIC, or SNAP (must include letters for all adult household members)

• Hawki ID Card

• Proof of HACAP Assistance

• Proof of City of Dubuque Utility Assistance
